There are two popular variations of Bingo. The first one is the 75-ball bingo which is played in the US and the second is the 90-ball bingo game which mostly played in the UK and parts of Australia, Asia, and Europe. The fundamental difference between the two ball bingos is the ways in which the numbers are arranged on the cards.
In the 75-ball bingo, there is a single card for every game with 24 numbers on it. The word BINGO is written on the top of the cards and the 5 rows signify the letters of that word. In this version the player has the possibility to play with a number of cards but each one may be repeated numerous times. There are 5 rows and 5 columns on every card. The purpose is to achieve different patterns during the course of the game. The patterns are announced by the computer every time before a game starts.
However, in the 90-ball game the player must purchase tickets which come in strips, with 6 tickets in each of them. An arrangement of the numbers from 1 up to 90 is being done in a grid which contains 3 rows and 3 columns. Evey row is inscribed with five numbers and the remainder of the square has to be left empty. There are 15 numbers on each ticket. The ticket you buy will have numbers from 1 to 90 randomly. For every game you will be able to play in any number of tickets between 1 and 6. If you have a strip you can mark whatever number has been called by the computer, and then you will have the chance to finish a winning pattern.
Prizes offered for 90-ball Bingo are of three types: one for achieving a single row, then for achieving two rows, and last for the full house. So the additional advantage here compared to 75-ball bingo is that more people get the chance to win many times in the same game.
